NOISE

Noise, normally, appears as blackish / grayish spots, lint or dirty, trashy areas and may be best described, by us old timers, as "snow".  Snow was common on the older analogue televisions, the weaker the signal the more snow on the image being projected.  The signal strength could be affected by numerous things such as electrical interference, temperature and equipment (television's tuner, antenna, cables, etc.).
